Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished Rotarians, and honored guests,
I stand before you today filled with immense pride and gratitude as we come together to charter the Rotary Club of Dhaka City. This is a historic moment in the making, and I am deeply honored to be the Charter President of this dynamic and forward-thinking club.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you who have been part of this incredible journey. Without your dedication, vision, and unwavering commitment, today’s gathering would not be possible. Together, we have taken the first step towards creating a powerful force for positive change in our community.
The Rotary Club of Dhaka City is not just a new addition to the Rotary family; it is a symbol of hope, unity, and service. We are here to make a lasting impact, to change lives, and to contribute to the betterment of our beloved city, Dhaka, and the world beyond.
As we charter this club, we are guided by Rotary’s timeless principles of Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, and Leadership. These values are not just words on a page but the foundation of our actions and the compass that will steer us toward a brighter future.
Our club’s motto is “Unity in Service, Strength in Diversity,” and I believe this perfectly encapsulates our vision. We are a diverse group of individuals, each with unique skills, perspectives, and backgrounds. It is this very diversity that will be our strength. We will harness the power of our differences to address the challenges in our community with innovative solutions and to make a difference on a global scale.
Our club is not just about the work we do; it’s also about the relationships we build. I encourage each and every one of you to take the time to get to know your fellow Rotarians, for it is through these friendships that we will find the inspiration and support to achieve our goals.
In the months and years ahead, we will embark on numerous service projects, both large and small. Our mission is to address critical issues, uplift those in need, and create a legacy of compassion and goodwill. We will work together to support education, promote health and hygiene, provide clean water, and foster economic development.
As Charter President, I am committed to ensuring that our club operates with transparency, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose. I will work closely with our dedicated board and club members to make sure that we stay true to our Rotary values and fulfill our mission.
Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey. I look forward to working alongside all of you, my fellow Rotarians, to create a club that not only impacts our community but also inspires others to join us in our noble cause. Let’s pledge to serve with all our hearts, to lead by example, and to embody the spirit of Rotary in all that we do.
I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for the Rotary Club of Dhaka City. Let’s charter this club with a sense of purpose and a commitment to “Service Above Self.” Together, we will make a profound difference in the lives of many, leaving a legacy that future generations will be proud to continue.
Thank you all for your dedication, and let us move forward with enthusiasm and a shared vision of a brighter, more compassionate world.
